A far-right politician has accused the Pasdaran of falsely claiming credit for shooting down an American drone in June when the actual shootdown was carried out by the regular military’s air defense force. Abol-Fazl Tavakkoli-Bina, an official of the Islamic Coalition Party, which is close to the Bazaar, said the armed forces sent eight air defense officers to the hajj as a reward for what they did and he had roomed in Medina with five of them.
