Pasdar promises US many corpses

FADAVI. . . bloodthirsty

If America ever attacks Iran, a senior Pasdar officer says, the only thing it will take home will be the corpses of its soldiers.

The commander of the Pasdar maritime arm, Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi, said last Wednesday, “If the Americans, for any reason, embark on a foolish act against the Islamic Republic of Iran, certainly what they will witness won’t be the return of US warships but the return of American corpses to their country.”

It was the latest in a long series of grisly and bloodcurdling predictions that Iranian military commanders have been making in an apparent effort to calm fears among the Iranian public that Iran’s military cannot stand up to the US armed forces.

Fadavi said American officials have admitted their weakness in any confrontation with the Pasdar maritime arm in the areas of vessels, mining operations and coast-to-sea missiles and see them as a grave threat to US weak points that cannot be countered.

US Navy officers have indeed said that Iran’s naval forces present a challenge, but they have never said it is a challenge that could not be countered.

Fadavi said the reason for US and Western sanctions against Iran is the fact that they are fully aware of their weaknesses and inability to launch a military attack against Iran.
