Out with the old, like 1399, In with 1400, it’ll be just fine

Welcome to the New Year!  A few years ago, the municipality of Tehran put out a handful of giant eggs and invited artists to paint Now Ruz designs on them.  Now those eggs appear all over the capital, like these in a neighborhood park, and are now a regular part of the modern celebration of Now Ruz in the capital.  See our Now Ruz story on page 14 and Eid-e Now Ruz Mobarek!
