Two soldiers were killed and another two injured when they ran over a landmine left over from the Iran-Iraq war in Marivan in Kurdistan province. It wasn’t explained if this was a marked field that the soldiers wandered into or if it is a minefield no one knew was there even 37 years after the war ended.
