It’s been a year-and-a-half since Atlanta lawyer Bryan Schmitt was accused of intentionally driving his car into Hamid Jahangard (photo) and killing him. It was called a case of road rage, with Schmitt, 47 at the time, angered because he thought Jahangard, 60, had thrown things at his car. Schmitt was indicted in August 2019. But nothing has happened in the case because the coronavirus epidemic has brought a halt to all jury trials in Fulton County, Georgia.
