There were a lot of stories in early January about President Biden discussing plans to bomb Iran. The story that prompted that speculation was carried by Axios, which said Biden was shown a list of options for what could be done if Iran moved to build a nuclear weapon. But Axios said the meeting was just to familiarize Biden with the options; it was not to make decision on what to do and no decisions were made.
