Yet again, a senior US official has said the United States has seen no evidence that Iran is working on a nuclear weapons program. Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy Vipin Narang said that April 30. “Iran has not made a decision to build a nuclear weapons facility. It is administration policy to not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons. We’re monitoring enrichment activity very, very closely. But administration policy remains the same; we will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons.”
