The magazine Aviation Week reports that the US Air Force is now flying a new and larger stealth spy drone. The new RQ-180 succeeds the RQ-170, one of which crash-landed in Iran a few years ago. Such stealth drones are needed for spying on Iran or on other sites where a government might shoot down a nosey aircraft. They are not needed for surveillance work over Afghanistan, where there is no threat from the ground.
