they delivered 30 tons of fuel to Bushehr for the reactor’s first refueling. It was not clear why the new fuel was delivered so soon after the reactor was first turned on. Russia delivered the initial fuel supply of 82 tons in December 2007 and January 2009 and none of it has been used up yet.
