The documents were obtained in the past 10 days after the confession of one of the suspects, said Mohseni-Ejai without naming that suspect.
Mohseni-Ejai said it had been announced that indictments would be issued soon, but the new documents will require further investigation and delay the indictments.
Mohseni-Ejai also said only four Majlis deputies, not six as previously reported, have been summoned so far for questioning about the fraud.
Asked about news reports saying that the son of one of the members of the Majlis Presiding Board had been arrested, Mohseni-Ejai said, “The arrested person is not the son of a deputy who is a member of the Majlis Presiding Board, but is the son of another lawmaker.”
