A group of 40 young Iranian expats has announced the formation of Farashgard (Revival), dedicated to the cause of regime change in Iran and the creation of a democratic liberal democracy. Damon Golriz, one of the signers and a lecturer at The Hague University in The Netherlands, told Radio Farda the Reformist movement in Iran has proved incapable of meeting the public’s aspirations and it is now time for the Diaspora to step in. He said Farashgard would exclude red and black (Marxist and religious) movements. He said Reza Pahlavi has a “quite crucial” role in achieving change.
