Iran’s state media are still carrying almost daily stories about foreign leaders sending congratulatory messages to President Raisi on his election and then on his inauguration. Almost daily, the media carry a story about such messages, seemingly trying to tell the public that all the world is impressed by Raisi although such messages are routinely processed by the most junior officials in foreign ministries.
