Basketball player Hamed Haddadi (photo) will stay in China this season. After being dropped last year by the Phoenix Suns, Haddadi signed up with the Sichuan Blue Whales of the Chinese Basketball Association where he averaged 14.2 points and 13.3 rebounds (his specialty) per game. Sichuan finished 12th in the 18-team league last season. This season, Haddadi is switching to the Qingdao Double Star Eagles, which finished last with only five wins in 34 games this past season. He will be a starter along with two Americans and two Chinese.
