The Egyptian daily Al-Ahram last week called Mossad chief Meir Dagan “the Superman of the Jewish state” for a subtle and sophisticated campaign that has “dealt painful blows to the Iranian nuclear program.” Without Dagan, Iran would have had a bomb years ago, Al-Ahram avers. Al-Ahram says Dagan’s ploys include actions that embarrassed the Islamic Republic, fueled opposition protests and physically slowed nuclear work through covert attacks on facilities.
