More pay-up orders

September 21, 2018

A federal judge in Washington, DC, has ordered Iran to pay $104.7 million 15 US Air Force personnel injured in the June 1996 truck bombing of a military barracks in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, that killed 19 Americans. The survivors of those who were killed were awarded $254.4 million in another case decided in 2006. The total of such court awards to “victims of terrorism” by Iran now runs to about $60 billion.
