For the second year in a row, former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper (photo) spoke at the annual mass rally of the Mojahedin-e Khalq, which this year was held in Albania rather than Paris. The group’s foot soldiers have all been moved from Iraq to Albania. Harper has long been critical of the Islamic Republic and broke relations with it while he was prime minister. But his government also labeled the Mojahedin-e Khalq as a terrorist organization. Former US Senator Joe Lieberman and British Conservative MP Matthew Offord also spoke, but the group drew no incumbent American members of Congress. It moved the rally site from France one year after police say Iran sought to bomb the last rally.
