They call it shaliball. 

It’s a form of volleyball played in rice paddies in Mazandaran province near the Caspian coast.  In April, eight local teams played a two-day tournament to determine the provincial champion.  The game includes the usual dramatic volleyball dives to prevent the ball from hitting the surface—only these dives end up with a giant splash of water drenching most of the athletes, who usually end the game covered in mud.
