The Mehr news agency reports that a member of the cabinet went on trial January 28. It did not name the minister. No one has denied the news report, however. Mehr said the mystery minister faces charges stemming from his time as a deputy minister under President Ahmadi-nejad. Nine of President Rohani’s 18 ministers served as deputy ministers at some point in the Ahmadi-nejad Administration.
