The manager of the Imam Khomeini International Airport said Monday that Mahan Airways is using the old Airbuses it recently bought to fly routes to Russia, Turkey and Greece. The US Treasury Department said that under US sanctions the eight planes are “blockable” assets and it will try to get the authorities in any countries Mahan flies to with them to seize the aircraft.
