LOOK-ALIKES

This new military vehicle is almost identical to the American Hummer (below).  Look at the grill, headlights, parking lights, windows and even the small side vent just in front of the driver’s door.  Only the wheels are totally different.  However, the Hummer is not a military vehicle; it is a commercial SUV.  The Hummer was adapted from the Humvee (right), which is a real military vehicle.  Has the Defense Ministry gotten confused?  It seems to have built a shiny commercial product rather than a rugged, all-purpose, off-road vehicle.
