The Majlis Energy Committee has put on hold the planned lease of a floating refinery to liquefy natural gas for sale to a Norwegian company. The committee said it found several problems with the contract and that Oil Minister Bijan Namdar-Zanganeh agreed the contract needed revision. This is just the latest in many years of problems that have so far spiked desires to produce LNG in Iran.
