Former President Mahmud Ahmadi-nejad wrote a letter to President Obama earlier this month asking him to “fix” the US Supreme Court decision allowing $1.7 billion in Iranian assets found in the United States to be seized. Asked about the letter, the State Department said it had been referred to the Justice Department. The State Department didn’t say whether the Justice Department would answer the letter.
