Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif toured Latin America’s leftist and anti-American states, visiting Cuba, Venezuela and Bolivia, where he attended the inauguration of its newly elected president, who re-established relations with Iran that had been severed last year after public protests toppled the previous leftist regime . Zarif skipped Nicaragua.
