oreign Minister Mohammad-Reza Zarif (photo) last week lectured the United States, urging it to choose diplomacy over intimidation. “Old methods produce same old failures,” he tweeted. “Progress will remain elusive as long as short-sighted bragging, lackluster implementation of obligations and tired slogans are preferred.” Presumably, he was suggesting the Americans not seize embassies, arrest dual nationals as hostages and boast of the military ability to punch every other country in the nose.
