When Russia invaded Ukraine, most American brands abandoned Russia, including both McDonalds and Coca-Cola. But Coca-Cola is now back in Russia. Only it’s the Iranian-bottled version! (See photo.) So, Iran is making money off the Ukraine war by selling an American product. (Actually, the syrup for the Coke comes from Ireland.) One Russian social media commentator has mockingly dubbed the Iranian Coke “Aya-kola.”
