Ramin Karimloo was born in Iran and reared in Ontario, but has made a name for himself on the London musical stage.
He is now reaching out to North America. His debut CD, “Human Heart,” was released this week in Canada.
His quickie concert tour will involve appearances at the Rose Theater in Brampton, Ontario, September 7, the Park West in Chicago on September 8, and the WQED Theater in Pittsburgh September 11.
It remains to be seen how well his concerts will do on this side of the Atlantic given that he is largely unknown here.
Now 33, he has performed in London in “The Phantom of the Opera” and In “Les Miserables” and was cast as the first Phantom in “Love Never Dies,” the sequel to “The Phantom of the Opera.”
