Saeed Jalili, who was Iran’s nuclear negotiator the last few years, lost his job when Hassan Rohani became president. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenehi has now named Jalili a member of the Expediency Council, a body of about three dozen men who advise the Leader on broad national policy.
