One of the last decisions made by the outgoing Trump Administration was to order that Israel, which has come under the US military’s European Command, be moved to the Central Command with other Middle Eastern countries. This is not any big policy change but recognizes that Arab countries are no longer staunchly against dealing with Israel. The old policy was intended to save US officers the embarrassment of trying to deal with both Arabs and Israelis.
