Israel continues its air raids on bases in Syria where Iranian Pasdaran are stationed. The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, reports that four Pasdaran and three Syrian soldiers were killed in such an attack February 14 on the Damascus Airport. The airport has long been a target of Israeli attacks because Iran flies in arms to the airport that are then transported by land to Hezbollah in Lebanon. Meanwhile, Iranian media reports said Asghar Pashapur, a senior Pasdar commander deployed in Syria, was killed February 2 while leading troops against the Syrian opposition in the Aleppo area.
