The Friday prayer leader in Mahmudabad, a small city in the north, told the congregation recently that he was responsible for converting Adolf Hitler’s grandson to Islam. “When I asked him [the grandson] why he chose Islam, he answered it was because he found Iranians altruistic and family-oriented,” the prayer leader said, according to a report on an Iranian website. The only problem with this story is that Hitler had no children and, therefore, no grandson.
