The Gas Exporting Countries Forum has elected Iranian Mohammad-Hossain Adeli, a former ambassador to Canada and one-time Central Bank governor, to be its head. The GECF is often described as the gas OPEC, but actually it is just a talking club. Well, that would make it a gas OPEC.
