The Lebanese government’s censorship body has forbidden the screening in Lebanon of the Iranian animated film “The Return.” It made no announcement of the rationale for the ban. The film is set around 500 CE and tells a story of an alleged effort by Zionism, which only came into existence in the 1890s, to form an alliance with Christianity against the rest of humanity.
