Deutsche Welle, the German international broadcast arm, says a 26-year-old Iranian man was attacked September 14 in a park in Chemnitz, the city that has seen a rash of anti-foreigner violence in recent weeks, including the killing of a man born in Cuba. Deutsche Welle said six attackers have been jailed for assaulting the Iranian, who suffered a laceration to his head.
