The commission issues a report annually and Iran has been tagged each year for many years. The others on the list include US friends Iraq, Egypt, Nigeria, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia plus Burma, China, Eritrea, Sudan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. Nine of the 14 countries are majority Muslim.
