For the first time this century, the Islamic Republic has agreed to allow a UN rights rapporteur to enter Iran. That has ticked off a lot of people, including Nobel laureate Shirin Ebadi, who has called for the visit to be postponed. The rights rapporteur Iran wishes to host is the one who deals with unilateral sanctions. Ebadi asked the UN to postpone that visit until Iran agrees to allow Human Rights Rapporteur Javaid Rehman to enter Iran.
