The regime almost daily accuses the United States of blocking Iran from buying food, medicines and medical equipment through its sanctions, even though the sanctions exempt such items. However, the Customs Administration announced March 2 that the largest import item in the first 11 months of the Persian year was corn, worth $2.3 billion, and the second largest import category was medicine and medical equipment, worth $1.481 billion. Guess someone forgot about sanctions.
