Iran Air, which last year named its first female CEO, Farzaneh Sharafbafi (photo), has launched a recruiting campaign to hire female pilots. The airline issued a new pilot recruitment advertisement that for the first time in Iran Air history says the firm wants women to apply to fly its aircraft. It is known to have only two women pilots now.
