Hajj talks are on

April 15, 2016

An Iranian delegation flew to Saudi Arabia this week to discuss arrangements for this fall’s hajj.  Tensions between the two countries have been high ever since last fall’s hajj, in which 464 Iranians died in a stampede.  More Iranians died than any other nationality.  Iran has complained that the Saudis stalled for two months before offering visas for the Iranian delegation to discuss the next hajj.
