Saudi Arabia has effectively canceled the hajj for the second year in a row. It will allow 60,000 Saudis and foreigners living in Saudi Arabia to go to the hajj July 17-22, but no one will be allowed into the country from abroad for the hajj because of the coronavirus. The Islamic Republic had been planning to send 2,000 Iranians this year, a mere fraction of the usual contingent of tens of thousands.
