President Rohani has inaugurated the first center providing 5G technology in Iran. The announcement didn’t say when the technology would be available to the public or what foreign company is providing it. 5G services began in the US in 2019 and half the US is to have coverage by the end of this year. 5G links will allow downloads 100 times faster than 4G.
