The new chief of the Judiciary, Gholam-Hossain Mohseni-Ejai (photo), has ordered Tehran’s prosecutor to examine the cases of all those jailed in the capital for the November 2019 protests over the hike in gasoline prices. The Iranian Students News Agency (ISBNA) said Mohseni-Ejai wanted all those freed who had shown good behavior or met other “qualifications,” which were not explained. Well, now we know there are still some people in jail for protesting 1-1/2 years ago.
