The Oil Refining Company is boasting that 80 percent of the gasoline it produces now meets the EU’s Euro-4 or Euro-5 standards for fuel quality. The company always measures its output against those standards to show the public how good it is. What it doesn’t tell the public is that the Euro-4 standards were issued in 2005 and the Euro-5 standards in 2009—but that Euro-6 standards replaced them in 2014.
