In the June 14 issue (page 10) we reported that the State Department had “suspended” financial support for the Iran Disinformation Project run by its Global Engagement Center because it was attacking journalists, human rights advocates and academics deemed insufficiently critical of the Islamic Republic. The US now says it has terminated its agreement with the group and ended all funding.
