It seems that Iran and Venezuela have a good deal going. Venezuela has too much jet fuel and not enough gasoline coming out of its refineries. For Iran, it’s the exact opposite. So, according to Reuters, since last May Iran has been sending its tankers with gasoline to Venezuela and they come back with jet fuel. It’s a straight trade with no currency involved.
