Some folks still cannot believe that President Obama is anything but a closet Muslim.
The Fox News program, “Fox & Friends Saturday,” criticized Obama this week for offering to personally pay for a “museum of Muslim culture” during the government shutdown, a claim that originated from a satirical website.
Last Saturday, the co-hosts of the program discussed the closure of the World War II Memorial in Washington, despite the objections of many veterans who eventually pushed passed barricades and into the memorial.
During the discussion, co-host Anna Koolman claimed that while the WWII memorial is closed, “President Obama has offered to pay out of his own pocket for the museum of Muslim culture.”
The federal government has no museum of Muslim culture to close during the government shutdown. In fact, it has no museum for any religion.
Unfortunately for Koolman, the claim that Obama offered to pay out of his own pocket for a “museum of Muslim culture” originated from the satirical website, National Report.
Koolman later apologized and said it “won’t happen again.”
The National Report said: “President Barack Obama held a press conference to announce that he is using his own money to open the federally funded International Museum of Muslim Cultures. ‘During this shutdown, people will have to deal with some of their favorite parks and museums being closed,’ Obama told reporters. ‘Just keep in mind, they will always be there. The Grand Canyon and the Smithsonian are not going anywhere.’ Obama continued, “The International Museum of Muslim Cultures is sacred. That is why I have taken it upon myself to use my own personal funds to re-open this historic piece of American culture’.”
The National Report said the museum is located in Jackson, Mississippi, which readers of the Iran Times will recognize as a major center of Islamic activity in the United States!
