Four-part TV show series on Iran airs this month

The series, called “Bridge to Iran,” aims to show American viewers what everyday life is like in Iran.  It also includes interviews with Iranian filmmakers about challenges they face from censorship and sanctions.  There is a discussion of the role of women.   And the broadcast includes a conversation between former Empress Farah and a dissident.

The series will be broadcast at 7:30 Eastern Time/4:30 Pacific Time on four succeeding Wednesday evenings—February 14, 21, 28 and March 6.  There will be repeat broadcasts at other times.

LinkTV is available on DirecTV and the Dish Network as well as 220 cable outlets across the United States, not to mention Internet streaming.  The schedule is available on LinkTV.org.
