F-5 now fully Iranian:

bought from the United States in the 1960s and 1970s, according to Brig. Gen. Masud Ruzkhush, commander of the Air Force base in Tabriz.  He said even the wings and fuselage of the plane have been made in Iran.  Iran is not believed capable of making aircraft engines, but probably can make most of the other essential parts of the F-5, whose design is a half-century old.  Iran bought 140 of the jets before the revolution and is believed to have 60 to 70 still flying.
