Everybody in the pool:

Movement (NAM) summit in Tehran next month.  And student groups are demonstrating in Tehran insisting that the Bahraini government not be invited either.  But Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehman-Parast just slammed the door on all that talk.  “Any country that hosts an international summit is obligated to invite all members,” he said last week.  And he is right.  That is the rule.  It is the rule the United States has to point out to many American politicians who demand that the Administration refuse to allow President Ahmadi-nejad to attend the UN General Assembly each fall.  Iran will host 120 member states of the NAM the last week of August, at which point Iran will take over the leadership of the movement from Egypt for a three-year term.
