The European Union may put restrictions on issuing visas to Iranians because the Islamic Republic refuses to accept back Iranian deportees from the EU. The German newspaper Welt am Sonntag said the EU was looking at restricting visas to nationals of 13 countries, including Iran, for refusing to take back deportees. Another option of boosting visa fees.
