Supreme Leader Ali Khamenehi has accused unnamed foreign countries of trying to interfere in Iran’s upcoming presidential elections in an effort to discourage Iranians from voting. The regime likes to boast about large turnouts in elections, seeing that as an endorsement by the public of the Islamic Republic, but there isn’t any evidence that foreign countries care about the voter turnout in Iran.
